Kensington Aldridge Academy are again celebrating unprecedented A Level results this year, as Year 13 students collect their exam results today. 36% achieved the highest A*-A grades, with 70% achieving A*-B – a fantastic achievement.
There has been another increase in the number of strong passes achieved by students in comparison to last year, with 91% of all results at grade A*-C or above, in comparison to 86% last year. A*-A grades have also increased from 33% last year to 36% this year and A*-B grades from 63% last year to 70%.
The university entrance picture is also really positive, with the vast majority of students achieving their first or insurance choice. We are so proud of our students and don’t doubt they will now go on to real success in the next stages of their education and training, taking that Intrepidus attitude with them. Students will be attending a diverse range of universities this year, including Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, Queen Mary University London, Southampton, King’s College London, and Warwick – and the courses chosen include; Theology, Medicine, Computer Science, Maths, Psychology, Pharmacy, and PPE.
Headline figures:
· 36% of all entries awarded the high grades of A*/A
· 70% of all entries graded a A*-B
· 91% of all entries graded A*-C
· 99% of all entries graded A*-E
· High Value Added figures, particularly for Physics and Geography
· Overall Value Added figure of 0.51 and an average grade B (showing just what a amazing difference a KAA education makes!)
