photo 3 1One of the Enrichments on offer at KAA is The Brilliant Club, which offers KAA students the opportunity to receive tuition from PhD graduates. Students that selected Brilliant Club completed one of two courses: ‘Understanding Viral Infections’ taught by a Queen Mary University of London PhD tutor, or ‘The Most Significant Turning Points in English History’ taught by a PhD tutor from Oxford University.

To graduate the students had to write a 1500 word essay on a question relating to their course. Tyler Mourciette-Johnson (7 Oliver) and his group answered the question ‘Is it ethically sound to give untested vaccines to Ebola patients?’

The Brilliant Club students attended their graduation this weekend and experienced life at Sussex University. Our KAA students were a shining example of Intrepidus as they spent an afternoon on a university campus, met lecturers from Sussex University, and received certificates at the graduation ceremony.

Huge congratulations to all the students that graduated from Brilliant Club for their hard work and commitment to the programme.
