Year 9 End of Year Exams

by Sue Hashemi  on June 10, 2025  in  Assessment Exams

A letter was sent home to parents today explaining the arrangements for the upcoming End of Year Examinations. A digital copy of this letter can be found here: Year 9 End of Year Exams – June 2025.

Year 9 students will be sitting their End of Year Examinations from Monday 23rd June to Friday 27th June. During this week, your child’s normal timetable will be replaced with an examination timetable, which they will be issued with early next week. For your reference, a copy can be found below. Parents can view the topics students have been studying this year to assist with revision by viewing the relevant subject pages of our website.  Please use the link below to access the curriculum overviews and information about the content of the curriculum in each subject area to aid your child revision.  https://kaa.org.uk/curriculum/

All assessments are written assessments, so students should come to school in their normal school uniform every day; they will not need their PE or dance kit. Students will sit these in the sports hall in most cases, and will be invigilated formally to give students an effective preparation for their GCSE examinations in two years time.

The last exam of the week will be maths, which finishes at the end of Period 4 on Friday. Students will remain on site for lunch and be registered by their teachers before being  dismissed from school at the earlier time of 2:05pm.
