The year 7 boys’ football teamed continued their fine form with an impressive but hard fought win over Bishop Thomas Grant in the Inner London Cup last Friday. The team were determined to get back to winning ways after an uncharacteristic performance last week and they had a real spring in their step going into the fixture.

Our home ground at Westway is becoming a fortress for the team as they cruised into a comfortable 3-1 lead at half time. Bishop rallied back in the second half after the KAA team was switched around to give everyone the opportunity to play. However, the KAA team held on to win the game 5-4 and will progress on to the next round of this prestigious cup.

IMG_2172Mahi Miah was again the man with the magic touch as he scored another impressive 3 goals. He had plenty to thank Rami Chikh for at the end of the game for his assists and Rami also managed to get on the score sheet. The 5th goal for KAA was scored by the impressive Kyle Simpson which rounded off a great win.

The team will be back in action after half-term with some important league games against Chelsea Academy and Phoenix High School.

Man of the Match: Rami Chikh
