Match Report by Mr Bernard

After a hard fought point against Chelsea Academy in their previous match, the year 7 football team travelled to Holland Park School determined to get back to winning ways. Every point is vital as the league draws to a close and the team are targeting a place in the league finals to round off a successful début season.

The team contained a few changes as Mr Bernard tried to bring new energy into the team. As usual the team started brightly, playing some crisp possession football from goalkeeper through to strikers. The team seemed full of confidence and it wasn’t long before our first goal squirmed in at the back post courtesy of Conor. This opened the floodgates and the KAA team pressed from the front to put pressure on the Holland Park defence, whose goalkeeper was in inspiring form in the early stages to keep KAA at bay.

The team put on an entertaining display and the game finished 9-0 to KAA, with goals from Conor (3), Mahi (3), Obayda, Jayden and Eknoor on his début for them team. Therefore another 3 points to continue the unbeaten league record. Goalkeeper Carlos once again proved his worth as he produced an excellent save from a penalty to ensure we kept a clean sheet.

Man of the Match: Jayden & Conor
