Y7 Netball vs Holland Park

Last Thursday the Year 7 Netball team headed to their first league fixture at Holland Park to play Moore House. Eager with excitement the newly formed team were keen to show off their skills.

Captain Yousra (7 Hamilton) began as centre and got the team off to a strong start. Leilani (7 Grey-Thompson) and Nada (7 Radcliffe) worked hard together to lead KAA to their first point. Meanwhile in defence a strong performance from Goal Keeper Hanadi (7 Holmes) kept Moore House from scoring.

In the second half the team continued to go from strength to strength and brilliant work across the court from Jenna (7 Grey-Thompson) and Ashlyn (7 Grey-Thompson) gave KAA plenty of opportunities to shoot. They proved victorious and came away with a 2-0 win and 3 points in the league.

The team are very excited for their next fixture and hope to prove they can be undefeated.
