Remembrance Day at KAA

KAA today joined the rest of the UK in observing a 2 minute silence to remember those killed or injured in service for their country.

Students have spent the week leading up to Remembrance Day selling poppies outside Latimer Road station before school each morning to raise money for the Royal British Legion. The donations collected support those currently serving in the Armed Forces, veterans, and their families and dependants.

At 11am this morning the entire school gathered in the playground for the 2 minute silence commemorating the end of World War One on 11 November 1918.
