Autumn Term Assessments 2022

The Autumn Term assessment week for students in Years 7 to 10 takes place from Monday 5th December – Thursday 8th December 2022. A reminder that Friday 9th December 2022 is a staff training day and the school is closed to students.
Formal assessments are essential in many ways and form the basis of all attainment tracking and monitoring at KAA. They give teachers accurate information on the understanding of each child, encourage children to reflect on their own understanding and revise independently, show which students need further intervention and support, and keep parents informed of their child’s attainment and how they can support their progress at home. It is important that your child prepares for his or her assessments by completing the revision provided as homework during revision week this week.
Some subjects do not have formal assessments next week as practical assessments have already taken place in the Autumn Term. Please see the assessment timetables below to help your child prepare for their assessments.
Parents will receive the Autumn Term parents reports in January.
