by Vashti Turner on February 2, 2016 in Sports
On Monday 1st February two year 7 boys – Ricardo (7 Kahlo) and Fedell (7 Kahlo) attended an indoor rowing competition run by EPIC to decide the RBKC representatives for the London Youth Games. Both boys had to race as hard for 2 minutes to rack up as many metres as they could. Ricardo came out victorious, placing 1st for the year 7 boys by rowing an impressive 478 metres! He will now progress to the London Youth Games final in July, an incredible achievement. Fedell placed a close second and will be the reserve for the event. A successful rowing trip for KAA! The girls will compete next week for a place in the finals.
