Important changes to Enrichment
by Vashti Turner on June 23, 2015 in Academy News Assessment Parents
A letter was sent home via students this afternoon to notify parents of some changes to the way enrichment will work from the start of Exam Week, next Monday 29th June, up until the end of term. Academic enrichments, school production, HW Clubs and detention will continue as normal for these three weeks, but all other enrichments will stop.
Students will be welcome to stay in the academy until 5pm Monday to Thursday if they want to use the library to revise or if they have an organised activity (e.g. sports match, production rehearsal). If not, they will be allowed to leave at 4pm. The end of the school day on Fridays will remain at 3pm as usual. The only exception is during Exam Week when students will leave at 3.30pm everyday (including Friday 3rd July).
A reminder of the exam timetable is below. Exams start on Monday 29th June, and students will be free to leave after the last exam of each day, or to stay to revise in the library.
