U14 Girls Basketball vs Sion Manning & Holland Park

Last week our U14 girls basketball team played two matches on Wednesday night.

First, they played Sion Manning. The game started well with Jennifer taking control of the match and scoring 3 times early on. In the second quarter the team let their guard down and conceded 4 points. Determined to keep their lead strong Georgina showed off her dribbling skills working well along the length of the court. It was the 3rd quarter when Mia came into her own and scored hoop after hoop and made it look effortless. The team finished the match strongly with captain Suad scoring. The final score was a massive 34-4 to KAA.

Their second match was against Holland Park and fresh out of victory a short moment of complacency allowed Holland Park to take the lead. It was only a matter of minutes before Jennifer took back control and scored for KAA. The team played very well but Holland Park were a strong opponent and sadly the game ended at a loss for KAA.
