Y8 Netball vs Burlington Danes

It was the final match of the Year 8 netball team’s season this week and they had a tough game against Burlington Danes.

Last minute team changes welcomed Zaakirah (8 Kidston) onto the team, playing brilliantly in her first game of the year. Jeanette (8 Simmons) worked tirelessly as Centre in both halves, consistently winning back the ball for KAA. When they got the ball to Chyna (8 Jobs) there was no doubt that it would go in. Tawana (8 Dyson) did not stop as she attempted to defend the goal from Burlington Danes’ well established shooters. The girls gave a triumphant effort even though it ended in a loss. The team are looking forward to starting off next season with some specific team training.
