Year 7 Girls’ Netball vs Holland Park & Moor House

With great excitement the Year 7s kicked off their netball season with two matches against Holland Park and Moor House. The game against Holland Park opened with a lovely goal from Mia Cobacha-Keizer. Holland Park quickly equalised to put under pressure, but Asia Phillips scored a second goal for KAA with some excellent attacking play. Holland Park put our defence to the test and Jainaba Jallow-Halake worked tirelessly as goal keeper. Having only started playing Netball this term, the KAA team’s inexperience began to take its toll and Holland Park went on to claim a 9-3 victory.

The girls entered their second match against Moore House with a lot of determination. Asia, now in defence, worked well with Ella-Lee Kelly and Jainaba to keep Moore House at bay. However, two matches in row and the new team began to be a challenge. Although Mia scored another amazing goal Moore Park took the win.

The team left their first games in high spirits and are eager to gain their first win in their next match against Burlington Danes.
