Y7 Boys Football vs Ruislip High

Match Report by Mr Campbell

Mr Campbell led the Year 7 Boys on a very eventful first football fixture against Ruislip High on Tuesday 27^th September. The game started off at a fast pace. The teams were neck and neck at half time with the score at 2-2.

Both schools dug deep putting on a real show. Despite Ruislip having the home advantage, KAA demonstrated excellence under extreme pressure. There were 2 more goals a piece in the next 40 minutes leading the teams into a deadlock in the last minutes of the game.

It was a dramatic finish – with 2 minutes of play time left KAA managed to scrape the victory with a goal from Enrique (7 Grey-Thompson). The final score was 5-4 to KAA!

Huge congratulations to the team for getting a win in their very first match together. We look forward to reporting on more of their matches as the season progresses.
