Match Report by Miss Demeester

It has been a challenging fortnight for the under 13 team, with 3 fixtures in quick succession.

Last Wednesday they faced the Hurlingham Academy. Just before half time they were 2-0 down but determined to get a goal in. Kerry (8 Hepburn) had amazing shot from just past the half way line which sent the ball soaring into the top corner. Ellie (7 Grey-Thompson) put another goal in during the second half but it was not enough for victory this time.

Keen to put the defeat behind them, the team played the Convent of Jesus and Mary Language College on Monday. The first half almost finished without a goal but Yousra  (7 Hamilton) got a shot in to give KAA the lead. The second half continued with KAA dominating play, and this time it was victory and a final score of 3-0 to KAA.

Finally, on a very chilly Wednesday the team began strongly against Capital City Academy. However, 2-0 down at half time there was a lot of work to be done. Kerry came to the rescue again with a brilliant shot, but the match finished at 2-1 to CCA. More fixtures to come next week!

Woman of the Match: Kerry (8 Hepburn)
