Y7 Netball Team represents RBKC at the London School Games

On a very wet Wednesday this week the year 7 netball team arrived at school nice and early to travel to Crystal Palace for the London School Games. As winners of the league the team were selected to represent Kensington and Chelsea at the festival.
On arrival they were given the borough t-shirts and with great excitement the team got ready for their first match. As the weather conditions worsened the team tried their best to compete with resilience. By the end of their first 3 matches they finished 3rd in the group and went into the afternoon fighting for a good ranking.
After a much needed refuge from the rain in the café at lunch time, the team approached the afternoon just as eager as when they started. With great determination the team fought on, and all team members worked tirelessly until the end. A fantastic opportunity, and a first in KAA’s history, well done to all those who took part!
