March Recruitment Evenings – Teachers learn about KAA
by doodlelondon on March 10, 2014 in Academy News
Last week we hosted a Teacher Recruitment Information evening for teachers and support staff interested in working at the new academy. We had a very high turnout with over 70 people attending the event.
At the evening KAA Principal David Benson highlighted the vision for the new academy, emphasizing the central focus on teaching and learning. He also highlighted the importance of all teachers being teachers of literacy, of ongoing staff training and lesson observation, the longer academy day and the fact that our motto – INTREPIDUS – is at the core of all we do.
Rupert Greenish, Director of Science, and Vikaas Patel, Lead Teacher of Maths, both attended the event and were able to answer any questions potential candidates had.
The Powerpoint presented during the evening can be downloaded here.
