Virtual Academy Open Day for Year 7 entry in September 2021
by Vashti Turner on September 26, 2020 in Academy News Admissions
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and safety measures in place at the academy, we will not be able to offer the previously advertised academy tours and open evening this autumn for September 2021 admissions to Year 7 and Sixth Form. Instead, we have created the virtual tour and presentation from the Principal below.
Kensington Aldridge Academy is recognised as one of the top academies in the UK. In 2017, Ofsted graded the school not only “outstanding” in all areas but “exceptional” and in 2018 we were awarded TES Secondary School of the Year. Our Sixth Form is also outstanding. Typically half of all Year 13 leavers progress to Russell Group Universities, with a small number to Oxbridge each year. Any current Year 11 students interest in applying for KAA6 should visit our Sixth Form pages.
To find out more about KAA, Year 6 parents can also read and browse our prospectus, read our Ofsted Report and view our recent videos. For further information about Year 7 admissions process, please visit our Admissions pages.
KAA is a Performing & Creative Arts (PCA) specialist academy. We admit up to 18 students (10%) of our annual Year 7 intake to pupils who are able to demonstrate an aptitude in Performing and Creative Arts through an aptitude test. If you would like to apply for your child to take our Performing Arts aptitude test please visit our Performing Arts aptitude admissions page.
