Y8 Basketball vs Holland Park

The year 8 basketball team faced the challenge of playing the Year 9 Holland Park team in the RBKC games on Friday 6th November. The team were undaunted by the challenge of facing older opponents and showed great resilience throughout the game. The combination of speed and skill meant KAA were in the game throughout and matched Holland Park for baskets in the early stages. Bilal and Jeriel were in great form, contributing 8 and 4 points respectively. In the third quarter Holland Park began to use their height advantage and KAA were unable to stem the flow of points. The team rallied in the fourth quarter but were unable to avoid the narrow defeat 22-12. The team were proud of their performance and are able to take many positives from the game. We look forward to another successful basketball season.
