Match Report by Mr Hajjaj

img_1732It’s easy to forget that just 6 months ago KAA’s Year 9 boys football team narrowly lost in the QPR schools’ final. Far from being a distant memory, the boys used this burning ember as the spark to kick off their season.

KAA were off the blocks at lightening speed. Slick, smooth and wfit passing by our boys proved too much for the opposition. Bamboozled and confused, St Mary Magdalene conceded an early goal; Bilal (9 Berners-Lee) opened the scoring after only two minutes. Total domination of the first half saw St Mary Magdalene School overwhelmed as they struggled to compete, ending the first half 4-nil to KAA.

The second half produced more exquisite football. St Mary Magdalene’s keeper pulled off several heroic saves, briefly containing the scoreline, but once KAA scored the fifth the flood gates were opened and the goals poured down in torrents.

The final score was 12-nil, creating the perfect platform for the games ahead.

Goal Scorers: Bilal B (x3), Jeriel (x3), Bilal E (x2), Abdelkrim, Ethan, Cameron and Andet.
