Y9 GCSE Options Evening – Thursday 2nd February

Year 9 GCSE Options Evening will take place on Thursday 2nd February from 5pm-7pm.

During the evening there will be a presentation which will set out all of the points for you and your child to consider whilst making their GCSE subject choices, as well as answering any questions you may have. The same presentation will be delivered two times, once at 5pm for parents and students in Angelou and Franklin, and again at 6pm for students in Honeyball and Pankhurst. You only need to attend the presentation once.

After the presentation you will be able to visit the subject fayre which will give you an opportunity to find out more about the courses on offer. The Heads of Department and other subject teachers will be available to discuss your child’s subject options with you and provide more information about the course they offer.

We ask parents and students to attend the presentation and options fayre at the following times to prevent over-crowding in the theatre. If this is not possible due to work commitments, you are welcome to attend the other presentation time:

Students and parents in Angelou and Franklin:

–       GCSE options presentation at 5pm-5.30pm in the theatre

–       GCSE options fayre from 5.30pm-6.00pm

Students and parents in Honeyball and Pankhurst

–       GCSE options presentation at 6pm-6.30pm in the theatre

–       GCSE options fayre, 6.30pm-7.00pm
