Year 6 Taster Day & Summer Camps

In light of the recent update from the government regarding the extension of restrictions, we have written to parents of Year 6 offer holders regarding changes to the upcoming transition events for students joining the academy in Year 7 in September 2021. Taster Day and Parents’ Evening

The Year 6 Taster Day on Wednesday 7th July from 9.30am-3pm will be going ahead, however adjustments will be made to ensure this is carried out as safely as possible. The Year 6 Parents’ Information Evening which was scheduled for the evening on Wednesday 7th July will now take the form of a pre-filmed presentation from the senior leadership team. The link for the presentation will be shared with Year 6 parents via email on Wednesday 7th July.

Year 6 Summer Camps

We are pleased to announce that throughout the summer holidays KAA will be offering a series of camps aimed at students starting with us in September. These are all free and will be a wonderful chance for Year 6 students to get out of the house, meet other children coming to KAA, and get used to the academy building and culture. Please note that places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please act quickly to sign up for these camps to avoid disappointment. To request a place on any of these summer camps, please complete this registration form no later than Friday 2nd July at 5pm. We will contact you to confirm which summer camps your child has been allocated a place on by Monday 12th July.
