Year 7 boys’ football team celebrate first win

The year 7 football team had a successful start to their season on Thursday with an emphatic victory over St Thomas More in their first game of the West London Schools League. Competition for places in the side was fierce after the well attended trials last week and the team selected didn’t disappointed, cruising to a 7-2 victory over their local rivals. After settling down into the game the team played some excellent football, which was a joy to watch. The crowd were entertained by the the skills of Rami Chikh (7 Khalo) and the goals came from a Pankhurst trio; Mahi Miah – 7 Matisse (3) , Obayda Kallam – 7 Khalo (3) and Abdulahi Elmi – 7 Chaplin (1). The team will be training hard in preparation for their next game and the PE department is hopeful that we will have another successful season.
