Y7 Residential Trip to Kingswood

We are delighted to inform parents and carers of our annual three night residential educational adventure activity course at Kingswood in May 2017 for Year 7 students. We are very fortunate to have secured a booking as it is extremely popular with school groups and we have established an excellent working relationship with the company.

Kingswood are one of the leading UK providers of residential trips and holds the quality badge for learning outside of the classroom. This trip is an invaluable part of the KAA Curriculum and we hope that all students in year 7 are able to attend to benefit from this amazing experience. The activities are centered on the academy core values and students have the opportunity to develop important lifelong skills, including building their self-confidence. All students leave with a sense of achievement, having overcome numerous individual and team challenges.

The trip will take place from Wednesday 3^rd May 2017 to Friday 5^th May 2017. The cost of the visit will be £145 total, which includes; return travel by coach, full board, accommodation and the full programme of activities and the required equipment. Students will be supervised by KAA staff at all times.

To confirm your child’s place an initial non-refundable deposit of £45 will be required by Friday 18^th November 2016. All payments will be made via parent pay. If you are unable to access parent pay, please contact reception who will be able to advise.

Please note the following suggested payment schedule:

1^st instalment: £45 non-refundable deposit – By 18^th November 2016

2^nd instalment: £50 – By 1^st February 2017

3^rd instalment: £50 – By 17^th March 2017

All payments should be completed by 17^th March 2017. Please feel free to make smaller interim payments at your discretion, alternatively you may wish to pay the full amount at the earliest convenience, if possible.
