Honeyball win House Dance 2019
by Vashti Turner on February 15, 2019 in Creativity House Competitions Performance and Creative Arts
On Thursday 14 February we held our 2019 House Dance finals. Each house was required to create a dance based on the theme of ‘fusion’. Their dance performance needed to be between 3-5 minutes and must clearly show ‘fusion’ through the choreography, costume and lighting. They also had to include a list of compulsory dance elements which the judges awarded marked on unison, canon, formations, contact work, solos/duets and structure.
The quality was absolutely incredible – you can see for yourself by watching the show on our YouTube channel.
Well done to everyone for a great competition and congratulations to Honeyball for the win!
Honeyball – 1st place
Franklin – 2nd place
Angelou – 3rd place
Pankhurst – 4th place
