Student smash four shows of High School Musical

This year’s school production of “High School Musical” saw students perform four shows across two days, including two matinees for our local primary schools. The two evening shows on Tuesday 12th July and Wednesday 13th July were filled with students, staff and families to watch the high-energy show students had been rehearsing throughout the Spring and Summer term.

This year the quality of auditions was so fantastic that the Performing Arts team decided to double cast several roles, with each cast performing two of four shows (one matinee and one evening show).

It was wonderful to see our theatre with a packed audience again after the past few years of social distancing and the cancelled production in the first lockdown. The audience were a delight and gave a standing ovation on the closing night.
