Students shine at KAAbaret
by Vashti Turner on April 2, 2025 in Creativity Dance Drama Music Performance and Creative Arts
This year’s KAAbaret showcasing the dance, drama and music department enrichment ensembles took place on Tuesday 1st April to a sell out audience!
There were scenes from our LAMDA enrichment group, starring Timothy (8 Williams) and Benjamin (8 Palmer), a GCSE drama piece by Omara (11 Muller) and Nirvana (11 Slimani). The BTEC Performing Arts and A level Drama students from Sixth Form, Gabriel (13 Sirleaf), Niamh (13 Maathai) and Amelie (13 Tubman) performed a comedic piece. Niamh also sang, performing “Funny Honey” from the musical Chicago.
There were also numerous musical and dance pieces from Upper Voices, Senior Intrepidus, Step Into Dance, Hip Hop/Street Dance and Band enrichments which blew the audience away! The night was a fantastic showcase of all the hard work and rehearsals students have done in enrichment so far this year.
A huge well done to all students involved – every ensemble shone from start to finish!
